Promoter Todd P plans to open a new all-ages music venue
Good news, youngsters! The former Silent Barn space in Ridgewood, Queens, will host concerts again.
Tue Sep 24 2013
In a rather dramatic post on his website, DIY booker extraordinaire Todd P announced his intentions to reopen the spot that formerly housed Silent Barn. (After a ransacking and closing, the aforementioned venue opened a new location in Bushwick last year.) Once the yet-to-be-titled venue opens—that’s also TBD, but we can only hope it’s sometime after the L-train-shuttle-bus-after-11:45pm-era—it will focus on “noise, avant composition, artistic rock” and other genres. It will also apparently include a bar (which will remain open on nights when there aren’t shows), office space, a gallery and studio. Looking for teen-friendly spaces that you can hit right now?
