Kaplan has amassed his significant fan base through folk classics ("Go Tell Aunt Rhody"), well-adapted rock standards ("You Can't Always Get What You Want") and his own original compositions ("Loquat Rooftop," a lovely ditty about a night spent eating delicious fruit on top of a Brooklyn apartment building). Today, he'll perform original songs inspired by the stories of Ezra Jack Keats, including Clementina's Cactus and Whistle for Willie. Ages 2 to 7.
