Food lovers, listen up! The summer edition of NYC Restaurant Week is rapidly approaching. During the twice-yearly eating-out bonanza, nearly 300 of Gotham's top restaurants go the discount route, offering a taste of their fine wares at a reduced price. Dining palaces such as A Voce and Aldea will be serving $25 three-course prix-fixe lunches, while dinner (also three courses and prix fixe) will run you $38, plus tip and tax.
Bookings start today, and many of them will fill up faster than you can say "table for two." Keep an eye out for restaurants adorned with the TONY Critics' Choice award, including The Monkey Bar, Boulud Sud and The Dutch.
NYC Restaurant Week summer 2013 actually spans four weeks, from July 22 to August 16. The deal is in effect Monday through Friday, and some venues also offer it on Sundays; head to NYC Go for details and the full list of participating restaurants—and, most importantly, to make reservations.
