The annual SantaCon pub crawl makes it abundantly clear that the holidays are about one thing: spirits. And by that we mean the alcoholic kind. Participants dressed as Santa, elves, reindeer and so on could be spotted all over Manhattan on December 15, in various stages of inebriation as day wore into beer-soaked night. While the sight of a wobbly red army is frightful for some, it was undoubtedly a good night for by-the-slice pizza vendors.
