Biblioball 2013: Overdue Romance

Let's be clear: We're not talking about the "sexy librarians" who appear on Halloween wearing fake spectacles. The Desk Set's annual Biblioball boogie-down is populated with actual librarians, archivists, authors, publishing-industry folk and other gorgeous people who handle, read and write literature. And, really, what's sexier than that? Well, maybe Nasty Canasta (of Naked Girls Reading), who performed a burlesque routine at Biblioball 2013: Overdue Romance alongside riot band Black Lagoon and DJs Brian Blackout, John XI, Marty McSorley and Matt Fiveash. Funds were raised for Literacy for Incarcerated Teens and the BOOKlyn Shuttle, which brings education and books to North Brooklyn youth.
