As if things weren't getting heated enough in the mayoral race (see: Weiner, Weiner, Weiner), the inaugural Democratic debate is coming up on August 21. Get your free tickets by contacting the Citizens Union (debates@citizensunion.org or 212-227-0342, ext 39)—though they are limited.

NY1's Errol Louis will moderate panelists Grace Rauh (also NY1), Juan Manuel Benitez (NY1 Noticias), Brian Lehrer (WNYC) and David Chen (The New York Times). On the candidate side of things, any hopeful who has raised or spent upwards of $50,000 is welcome to participate; expect Bill de Blasio, John Liu, Christine Quinn, Sal Albanese, Bill Thompson and Anthony Weiner in attendance.

The first Democratic mayoral debate is happening August 21 at 7pm at the Town Hall.
