Time Out says

Practicing witches Mark Eadicicco and Richie Drawneek—owners of Staten Island's sorcery-supply store Practical Magick—host this layperson-friendly costume bash in the event space of local Italian restaurant Cafe Del Mondo. Celebrate Samhain (Pagan New Year) with a buffet dinner, dancing to Top 40 hits and classic floor fillers, and a witches' magic circle to help you "project" your wishes for the year ahead. Revelers are encouraged to consider their projection (such as sexual desirability or financial success) when planning their costume; masks and scary getups are discouraged. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Tickets can only be purchased in advance at Practical Magick (1457 Castleton Ave between Heberton Ave and Simonson Pl, Staten Island; 347-242-6947, practicalmagickshoppe.net), and you can stock up on potions and spell kits while you're there.
