There are few things as great as the instant gratification you get from flaking on plans to stay home and watch Netflix. Especially in this horrendous weather, cancelling on a prior obligation can feel pretty great. But you should probably put at least a little thought into the excuse you use to get out of something. As you can see from the sticky-notes below, fake pet emergencies and imaginary medical issues probably won't cut it.
