"I once picked up two drunk ladies who wanted to go to Penn Station. Halfway there, one started giving me directions, but they were completely wrong. I tried to tell her, but she wouldn't let me talk. Just let me do my job! I figured when we got there, she would realize she was wrong, so I gave up. But when we arrived and [I told] them the amount, they wouldn't pay. The woman even hit me, so I called a cop. But they still wouldn't pay, and I lost the fare."

"Crazy passengers? Oh yes, every day. Especially on Friday and Saturday nights, you have to watch out for passengers who will make you go far out into Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and then run out the door when you get there. You can't chase them down. It's every kind of person too. You would be surprised."

"At least once a month on a Saturday night, someone throws up in the cab. It's usually people coming from the East Village. Some are half-drunk and know that they did something wrong, so they try to tip you well to make up for it. But others are so gone they don't care, or they try to pretend nothing happened. Please. That's disgusting."

"Two guys were having sex in the backseat. At first I didn't know but then I heard noises, so I turned around and I was shocked! I was driving, but I was so surprised I stopped short. One of them flew forward and hit their head on the barrier. I didn't kick them out though."

"One time, I picked up a couple, and they wanted to make the love in my cab. I tell them, 'Is this a hotel or is this a taxi?' No, no, no. I kicked them out. This is my business. This is my home. I am here all day. They must have respect."

"All the time, people will tell me where to take them and then run away instead of paying. But you can never chase after them. Who knows what kind of person they are? I value my life."
