Hey, Instagram fanatics—turn your smartphone compulsions into something productive with NYC.gov's #LoveNYC Instagram Photo Contest. You can submit as many photos of the Big Apple as you like, with the possibility of being named "the City of New York's Instagram Photo Ambassador," meaning that your photos would be featured by NYC.gov this fall. Your winning snapshot could also be displayed digitally at the New York Public Library.
To get the full details on how to participate, head over NYC.gov's Facebook page. Five judges, including Artsy founder Carter Cleveland (whom we recently interviewed), will choose the five best photos from each borough, and Facebook fans will determine the ultimate winner of each nabe. Let the filtering, hashtagging and sharing begin!
