Hey kids! Ready for the Big Egg Hunt? The scavenger stunt by Fabergé, in which hundreds of two-foot-tall decorative eggs are spread around town just waiting to be Instagrammed, kicked off yesterday.
To find one of these orbs—designed by the likes of Jeff Koons, Julian Schnabel and Cynthia Rowley—download the Big Egg Hunt app, which will signal when you’re close to an egg. As soon as ten peeps discover a sculpture, it will show up on the app’s map. (Gothamist already spotted one outside Jane’s Carousel.) Think of this as a nice way to prep for your scavenger hunt on 4/20. Sorry, Easter. We meant Easter.
