The final season of Mad Men begins Sunday, April 13
Prepare for a stacked DVR this spring: The first part of Mad Men's final season premieres on AMC April 13
Sun Jan 13 2013
More big TV news (phew!): On Saturday, AMC announced that the final season of Matthew Weiner's masterful drama, Mad Men—which will be split into two seven-episode parts—will begin on Sunday, April 13. (Yes, that's a week after Game of Thrones returns; yes, your Sunday nights are going to be intense.) Better start rewatching the final season now to get caught up: Between Don Draper's self-implosion, Peggy's career ascension and several characters decamping to Los Angeles, the final season is sure to be a doozy.
In more AMC news, fans of Breaking Bad will be happy to know that the Bob Odenkirk–starring prequel Better Call Saul, a spin-off focusing on sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman, has officially been added to the channel's 2014 lineup. No specific premiere date has been set, but expect to see it sometime in November.
