The artists in this group show all looked to various social networks for inspiration and material for their work, some more directly than others. Paolo Cirio and Alessandro Ludovico’s Face to Facebook collects the visages of 1 million Facebook users and reappropriates them to populate a fake dating site. Eva and Franco Mattes’ The Others goes further, lifting from individuals' computers that were vulnerable to a security bug.
