If you thought food-hybrid fanaticism was coming to a close along with summer's end, you were just plain wrong. First, Dominique Ansel and Danny Meyer joined forces to ensure crossbreed domination with their Cronut Concrete, and now Keizo Shimamoto has announced via his GO RAMEN! blog that his perpetually sold-out ramen burger just graduated from Smorgasburg to a slightly more permanent locale.
The line-inducing noodle-sandwich mash-up has earned a month-long placement on Dassara's menu, meaning that the already popular Smith Street restaurant is about to get a serious boost in traffic. Limited quantities of the creation will be served from September 14—with a Ramen Burger Launch Party that day—through October 15. Better get in line now.
