The New York goth and punk-rock scene is not yet dead—or so the Red Party believes. All night, DJs Sean Templar (Underworld), DJ Cyn (Salvation) and DJ Jarek (Raven) play the grungy dance rhythms of oldies from groups like the Cure, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy and Siouxsie & the Banshees. In its seventh year, the party mostly features original death-rock jams but promises to flatter the crowd with some new post-rock bands, as well.
