Ticket alert: Kanye West will play Barclays, MSG in November
Yeezy will bring Kendrick Lamar along for the Yeezus Tour, which stops in Brooklyn and Manhattan in November.
Fri Sep 6 2013
It's been a pretty big year for Kanye West: The artist released his latest record, the controversial Yeezus, in June; he headlined this summer's Governors Ball Music Festival; he appeared on Saturday Night Live and at last month's MTV Video Music Awards; and, oh yeah, there was that whole having-a-baby-with-Kim-Kardashian thing. (Let's all take a moment to appreciate how adorable North West is, shall we?)
Now, West is following all that up with a big fall tour, beginning in Seattle in October. The Yeezus Tour will make two New York City stops in November: Yeezy will play the Barclays Center on November 19, and Madison Square Garden on November 23. (There's also the promise of special guests for those shows—hmm, could a Watch the Throne reunion be in the cards?)
Tickets for the shows, which feature support from rising star Kendrick Lamar, go on sale next Friday, September 13. Check out West's video for "Black Skinhead," off Yeezus, below if you find yourself needing to get amped until tickets are released.
