Urban Outfitters in Williamsburg to triple as a bar and restaurant?
The chain store hopes to bring booze and eats to an already booze-and-eats-filled North 6th Street.

If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand times: Williamsburg is great and all, but it’s in dire need of more places to drink and eat. Kidding! That probably hasn’t been said by anyone in the last five years. (Although, seriously—a music venue here and there wouldn’t hurt.)
Nevertheless, according to Grub Street, the yet-to-open Urban Outfitters on North 6th Street may include both fine dining and tippling. So in one setting, ’Burg residents can, um, outfit their urban selves, sip a cocktail and chow down on a $36 rib eye? The whole thing sounds a little messy—plus, there are a zillion watering holes and eateries nearby—but who knows. If it comes even close to capturing the awesome combo of shopping at Target and then gorging at Buffalo Wild Wings at Atlantic Center, we are so there.
