In a refreshing shift in the news coverage regarding the subway we love to hate, The New York Times has posted a video showcasing a different side of the oft-derided train. Respected experimental filmmaker Jeff Scher made most of "Tunnel Vision" with his iPhone, pressed up against subway-car windows from all angles and parts of the train. The results, which Scher describes as a "nocturnal ballet," are actually quite beautiful. Check them out below.
