What is it about the Roots and classroom instruments that's just so freaking cute? It seems like you could put them to work playing any song on the planet with adorable results. But it's even better when they take on an irrestistible earworm, as they and host Jimmy Fallon did with Idina Menzel's hit "Let It Go" on The Tonight Show yesterday. (Funny how she became instantly well-known just a day ago when John Travolta butchered her name on national TV.)

As you can see from the video embedded below, the Frozen ballad—which just won the Oscar for original song on Sunday—really comes to life with kindergarten instruments like wooden letter blocks, a xylophone and a triangle. Aww!
