Last night saw The Tonight Show's triumphant return to NYC after 42 years in Los Angeles, with brand-new host Jimmy Fallon at the helm. The enthusiastic comedian introduced himself and joked about the Olympics; U2 performed on top of Rockefeller Center with the Rutgers marching band; celebs like Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Lady Gaga made cameos; and—in our favorite number of the inaugural episode—Will Smith helped Fallon break down "The Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing."
In a dialogue-free bit of dancing, the NBC show's host and the Fresh Prince demonstrated classic moves like the "Cabbage Patch," "Robot," "MC Hammer" and more while donning denim overalls. The sequence ends with Fallon giving Miley Cyrus a run for her money with some on-air twerking…and Smith walking off the set in disgust.
