Watch Miley Cyrus party in the subway in a VMA promo (video)
The songstress simply can’t be stopped. Watch her go underground in a video announcing her live act at the Video Music Awards.
Tue Aug 6 2013
With the Video Music Awards coming up on August 25, MTV is starting to reveal the live acts for the annual music-awards blowout—and, as with the nominations themselves, they're taking the reveals to social media. After confirming Lady Gaga and Kanye West yesterday (Yeezy was revealed via an Instagram shot of three croissants on the Brooklyn Bridge, because of course), Miley Cyrus was revealed this morning as another VMA performer.
And how was this announced, you might ask? Rather than social media, MTV released a promo video of the twerking popstrel (who has three nominations) partying in what looks like the Atlantic Ave–Barclays Ctr subway tunnel whilst "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" plays. There's also fire-breathing, graffiti-spraying and a whole lotta leg showing. Because is there any other way?
