Yes When we think of dog shows, we think of poodles, and Yes is one of the best. Highly ranked on the AKC list, the six-year-old standard poodle has racked up more than 60 Best in Shows to date. Yes she can! Yes she can!

Charmin Named after the toilet paper, this Sealyham terrier is a fiercer competitor than his fluffball exterior might suggest: His enviable rsum includes a Best in Show at the 2008 World Dog Show. (By our calculations, wouldn’t that make him the greatest dog in the world?)

Spirit This giant schnauzer is top dog—literally. She was ranked No. 1 on the AKC all-breed list in 2008. “She goes in the ring, and knows to be pretty and everything,” says breeder Maryann Bisceglia. “But she’s really a silly dog.”

Lincoln This Brussels griffon has 66 Best in Shows under his collar, but it hasn’t gone to his head. “He’s really a calm dog,” says co-owner Anne Jahelka. “We’re proud of him when he goes to these events, but we’re just as proud when he comes home.”

Coda This four-year-old harrier rules the hounds: He ranked No. 8 on the American Kennel Club’s all-breed list for 2008, and he’s tops for his breed. “Anything can happen at Westminster,” says Coda’s breeder, Susan Lowder. “We take the day as it comes!”

Rolex This is this Dogue de Bordeaux’s first time at Westminster, but don’t count him out: He won the Best of Breed title at the 2008 AKC/Eukanuba championship. Says co-owner Chelsea Conway, “He is as loving as he is big, and he’s a total mama’s boy!”
