If there’s any justice, dawning or otherwise, at the multiplex, audiences will reject Zack Snyder’s lumbering, dead-on-arrival superhero mélange, a $250 million tombstone for a genre in dire need of a break. It’s supposed to be the glorious ramp-u...

Talking animals In a Disney film? Nothing new there. But this animated adventure takes the idea somewhere fresh by giving us a distinctly human world, with cities, streets and ice cream parlors populated by almost every mammal you can think of—apa...

YES, YES and YES! I LOVE this movie theatre! All the seats are pretty much lazy boys that recline fully. They're so comfortable, I've not made it through one film without falling asleep... My only criticism is that the films shown there aren't the best selection of new releases.

AMC Loews 84th Street is hands down the best chain movie theater in Manhattan. All seating is reservation only which mean NO LINES! All of the seats also recline and are cushy (cushy enough to almost fall asleep during a movie). One thing to note, I have pretty severe motion sickness and am always wary of watching action movies (especially 3D) in theaters. However, I’ve had only pleasant experiences here (Gravity and Jurassic World in 3D), and I think it’s because the the seats are a good distance from the screen. I am willing to come all the way to the Upper West Side to watch movies here.
