Launched in 1991 by Swedish designers Yvone Clamf and Christina Söderström, this opulent jewelry brand relocates its NYC flagship to a brighter, sunnier storefront right down the street. Vintage-style display cases showcase handmade earrings ($105–$555), necklaces ($75–$1,200) and rings ($100–$450). Although some items are a bit of a splurge, the semiprecious stones and luxe metals incorporated into the designs make it worth the price for a special occasion. New collections are introduced thrice yearly, each offering a different aesthetic. You’ll currently find dark-green pearl drop earrings ($108) set in a gold-plated silver filigree setting from the sensual Egypt collection, turquoise-and-gold pendants ($225) from the colorful Garden of Eden line and silver cuff rings ($132–$171) from the ornate Hortensia offering. Simpler styles include signature pearl studs ($132) set in a tulip-shaped metal backing, mother-of-pearl rings ($348–$387) and feminine gold filigree earrings ($267).
