Specifically designed with men in mind, this speakeasyesque salon keeps it simple: All appointments include a haircut, scalp massage and shampoo, hot towel, and a manicure with hand massage ($70). You can opt out of the manicure ($60) or stop in between trims for a hand pampering ($15). The staff is small—and entirely female—with just two stylists and a single manicurist. And the salon is tiny too, so you don’t feel overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle that normally plagues large salons. Sit back, relax and don’t forget to grab yourself a cold (free!) beer from the fridge.

Best haircut I've ever had. The whole staff makes you feel very comfortable. Quick consultation, shampoo, scalp massage, cut and then comes the best part - rinse and styling. The second rinse ensures that you don't have itchy hairs on your neck and collar when you leave. I've tried numerous barber shops, salons, etc. I literally looked for years for the right place. Fleischman is everything it's cracked up to be and more. True, it is an expensive haircut. But it is also the best haircut in Manhattan, and probably east of the Mississippi!
