A beer lovers dream!  With 20 rotating taps, you'll always find something unique at Pony Bar.  There are two large tv screens behind the bar that list all the current beers on tap.  Once a keg is empty, they'll ring a bell, and put something new on the board.  Don't come here expecting to get Stella or Bass.  This bars motto is Fuck Imports!  Only American Craft Beers.

The beers are all priced at $7, with lower alcohol beers served in 16 oz glasses and stronger beers in 8 oz glasses.  On the rare occasion they have Dogfish Head 120 or World Wide Stout, expect only a 4 oz pour, but at 15% alcohol, I'm not sure you need much more. Happy Hour occurs daily at 4:20 (seriously) for one hour only, with beers going for just $5.

This is hands down my favorite bar in the city.  Great atmosphere.  Knowledgable, helpful and cool as hell staff.  And I haven't even mentioned the food yet.  You won't find wings or nachos like other bars, but the sandwiches are all made with high quality ingredients, and the spicy mustard served with the pretzels will have you asking for seconds.  Actually, just go ahead and ask for two to start with like me and my girlfriend do.  That way we don't get mad at the other one for stealing it all!

Extremely awesome place to go for some high quality beers.Love how the beers always seem to rotate on a weekly basis. Most are sold for five dollars, which is not only amazing for a beer in NYC to begin with, but especially for high quality micro brews that they have.Always seems to be packed on Fridays and Saturdays and always seems to be a cool environment. My only complaint is that its kind of small and can be hard to find a place to sit.Usually have to stand on the weekends.Beer is unbelievable with a great varied selection.
