Time Out says

Needlephobes who’ve shied away from acupuncture for fear of painful pricks, stinky herbal medicine and unfamiliar terms will have their anxieties allayed when visiting Beth Small Acupuncture. After practicing in Connecticut for a year and a half, Small recently moved to a modern office in the Flatiron District, where she happily gushes that acupuncture is her favorite practice, and speaks of qi and nerve endings with equal aplomb. Having considered a career in nursing before deciding on this route, Small is comfortable with Western practices and, unlike many practitioners, isn’t aghast when you mention your sleep-deprived, alcohol-fueled, Advil-popping lifestyle. Introductory one-hour session, $100 (some forms of insurance accepted).
