Shows start at 10pm. The Lakeside remains one of the city’s scruffier, more endearing little clubs. There’s no stage, but that doesn’t keep class acts like Kevin Salem and onetime MC5 manager John Sinclair from dropping in to play. Co-owner Roscoe Ambel has been a producer for the Bottle Rockets, Cowslingers and Mojo Nixon, so bands in the roots-rock scene (such as the Yayhoos) frequent the joint.
