Hot Cider Walking Tour

New York is best explored by foot, but two-legged travel is a dicey proposition this time of year. Which is why the Museum at Eldridge Street starts off this tour with steaming cider and rugalach, a traditional Jewish pastry. Thus fortified against the elements, follow museum staff on a 90-minute stroll around the Lower East Side, stopping at historic spots like Jarmulowsky’s Bank, the Forward Newspaper Building and Loew’s Canal Street Movie Theater.
