Union Square can certainly seem like it’s at the crossroads of the city at 2pm on a Saturday, which is when this weekly tour takes place. And you’ll find out that this was a hub well before the Greenmarket took root. Follow along as guides from Big Onion Walking Tours tell tales of the myriad rallies, strikes and visits from historic figures that happened here, as well as of the area’s stint as New York’s theater district.
