Meet just around the corner, in front of Saint Barthélémy church (11 montée Claire Virenque), to join up with the guided tour that visits this quirky and atmospheric villa. Remodelled in the 1930s, the building has many interesting architectural features and is also home to a collection of artworks spanning the 14th to 17th centuries. Religious art is the bag here; see for a good example the very beautiful 15th-century Flemish pietà. One for the specialists, perhaps, although the trip in itself is worth the effort, if only to get out of the centre and to catch a glimpse of one of the city's quieter, leafier residential neighbourhoods.
