Parc des Buttes-Chaumont review
With its meandering paths and vertical cliffs, this lovely park was designed by Adolphe Alphand for Haussmann in the 1860s. A bridge (cheerfully named the Pont des Suicides) crosses the lake to an island crowned by a mini-temple.
