Au Passage review

A strange find, this, tucked down a long, narrow alleyway off rue Amelot, opposite the back entrance of Pop In - look out for the green Stella sign. Inside it's red and black and bohemian all over. Artists cluster around the corner bar, passing over the €2 bottles of Tsingtao beer for glasses of teeth-staining vinrouge, perhaps dipping into a plate of meat or cheese nibbles (€5/€8). There's art on the far wall, some retro cookbooks, and a feeling that entire decades could pass without anyone really noticing.
