Billowing dresses, embroidered costumes, taffeta, enormous wigs like small castles… At the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, one hundred outfits are strung up, retracing more than two centuries of the history of fashion. Taken from the collections of Martin Kamer and Wolfgang Ruf, these garments for men and women sketch out the evolution of tastes and morals in France, England and Italy, reflecting the march of history and the development of technology.
