Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars

This exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs reveals how the electro-fusion movement in music has also translated into the world of art and video, constantly developing its graphic identity. Futura2000, Alexandre Courtès, M/M, Michel Poulain and other artists who have worked closely with ‘French touch’ (more commonly known as French house) all come out from behind the scenes, with joyous results. It’s a sort of musical and visual osmosis, a universe made up of geometric lines, sweeping curves, old comics and retro sketches which you can see in hundreds of flyers, album covers and clips. The whole thing works together brilliantly: all of it innovative, profoundly anti-conformist and free from the dogmas of marketing, with a highly charged energy.
