The Templon gallery shows the latest works by Philippe Cognée. There’s a series of views of houses and apartment buildings taken from Google Street View screenshots and painted with furniture polish, next to portraits of anonymous faces and celebrities. There are flashes of a raw and unreal expression, where the magnified banality of the images vies with the unknowable realities of urban life.
