Time Out says

5 out of 5 stars

Having twice hosted the outsider art exhibition associated with the magazine ‘HEY!’, the Halle Saint-Pierre is now teaming up with the famous publication ‘Raw Vision’ to create a new exhibition devoted to all things irreverent and underground. Created in London in 1989 by the painter John Maizels, the thrice yearly review has, over the course of 25 years, become the reference point for alternative currents in temporary art. It has participating in the mediatisation and the rediscovery of an alternative approach to creativity, defending in particular American folk art, represented in this exhibition by Sister Gertrude Morgan.

On the programme, an enticing list of more than 80 artists of all persuasions and from all over the world. Next to Illinois native Henry Darger, there will also be Nick Blinko (UK), Richard Burnside, Joe Coleman and Mr Imagination (US), André Robillard (France), Viljo Gustafsson (Finland), Pushpa Kumari (India), Adolf Wölfli (Switzerland) and Cheri Samba (Congo).
