Time Out says

The Cartier Foundation offers another round of the sensational and spectacular with their second exhibition devoted to Ron Mueck (the last one was in 2005), which will occupy the Jean Nouvel edifice on the boulevard Raspail for the better part of 2013. A former puppet-maker for advertising and TV (including ‘The Muppet Show’), the Australian artist started to be shown in museums towards the end of the 1990s, creating hyperreal sculptures on disproportionate, usually outsize, scales. His aim is to destabilise his audience by exhibiting the human body in its tiniest details, from the roots of the hair to  folds in the skin, and to evoke the different stages of life from birth to death, and from adolescence to old age.
