Winshluss, 'Un monde merveilleux'

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs gets involved with the marvellously offbeat universe of Winshluss: illustrator, painter, comic book author, filmmaker, sculptor and author of ‘Pinocchio’ (published by Éditions Les Requins Marteaux in 2008). The exhibition is full of his false innocence, fantasy and cruelty, taking in icons of popular culture and cartoons, posters of Monsieur Ferraille, fake advertising, models of has-been rock stars, scene featuring Ronald McDonald – a whole loopy, acidic ecosystem taking over the Galerie des Jouets.
