[title]This is the third edition of the Pompidou's Nouveau Festival, a multiple-venue event devoted to performance and new or unfinished artworks. On the menu for 2012: Guy Maddin's shorts and silent film séances, works from Elie During and Julien Prévieux) and strange dolls from Gisèle Vienne and Dennis Cooper. There are also tons of performances from the likes of Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Bettina Atala and Ishmael Houston-Jones. The festival is dynamic and very connected to its audience, and all for free – with the exception of shows in the Grand Salle (seats €10 to €18).
