Le Sacre du Printemps

She She Pop is an all-female creative collective hailing from Berlin. If that sounds artsy enough as it is, wait till you hear the premise of their latest show: an adaptation of Stravinsky's pulsating modern ballet 'Le Sacre du Printemps' ('The Rite of Spring') performed by the various members, plus their mums. This is the launching point for all kinds of thematic considerations: the role of the woman in the world, her potential for independence, the conflict between capitalism (represented by those performers born in West Germany) and socialism (those from the East)… In short, this is ballet for the intellect. We're intrigued.
