Séquence 8

Opening to C2C’s track ‘F.U.Y.A’, ‘Séquence 8’ is the eighth piece from circus troupe 7 Doigts de la Main. The music is like an aural firework opening the celebrations, against which the acrobats have imagined a choreography rich in perilous leaps and elegant dance work, a muscular production which gives no respite to its protagonists, full of rhythm from start to finish and harmony from head to toe. A subtle melange of dance, theatrical sketches and acrobatics, all full of moments of humour, the Canadian troupe creates a circus world that is both narrative and dreamlike, and well deserving of its standing ovations.
