As well as the cracking of ice cubes in drinks (the ‘cri du glaçon’ of the name), this new bar hums to the rhythm of loud electro music, getting the crowds going for a night on the town in a good-sized room with plenty of space for dancing in front of the magnificent bar.
An enormous drinks choice includes €9 house cocktails and revisited classics at €8 (10 of each), with some audacious mixtures like the Killing Kenny (Olméca tequila, elderberry liqueur, framboise, celery, bitters and sparkling wine) or the Toreador Ginger Fizz (Pisco, apricot liqueur, vanilla syrup, egg white, lemon and lime juice, ginger beer and absinthe). If you’re not in the market for cocktails, try the premium spirits ranged behind the bar or enjoy the quality beers on tap – Robus and Licorne from Alsace, the Trappist Abbaye de la Florette or a cherry-flavoured Kreik. There’s also a long list of bottled beers: Chouffe, Rince Cochon, Guinness, Kirin, Delirium, Page 24, Pietra, Duval...
