The 'Semaine du Goût' (tasting week) has been celebrating French cuisine for 20 years. Chefs, restaurateurs, teachers, critics, professional associations and wine buffs all get together for a gourmet week in October – expect plenty of opportunities to learn, to taste (this year, the international invitees are Japan and Russia) and to experience all the products and methods that make French cooking unique.

The full programme is available here. Highlights include the 'Sound'wich Sessions', where every evening a different venue offers a special menu, concert and wine selection (€15), cookery classes at the FAC, and 25-50% reductions at numerous restaurants for under-25s.
