New York-based Israeli bassist, a protégé of Chick Corea and Horace Silver, whose work shifts from heavy duty post-bop to Jewish folk music via funk and bebop interludes. Having earned a phenomenal rep for his powerful melodic contemporary jazz he lines up here with his trio of pianist Omri Mor and drummer Amir Breslre to further explore his blend of post-bop and folky-fusion.
