Doug Martsch's cult guitar trio play Paris to show off their grungy, lurching post-hardcore. Although they probably peaked with 1999's 'Keep It Like A Secret', their recent material's been well worth a listen, and Martsch still has a beguiling way with transcendent guitar solos and melancholic college rock anthems.
