Poliça’s seductive blend of trip-hop and synth-pop has bought the Minneapolis band high-profile fans including Jay-Z and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver. The latter had a guest vocal spot on Poliça’s 2013 second album,‘Shulamith’, which epitomised their luscious, languid sound, with Channy Leaneagh’s vocals drifting hazily over Portishead-like trip-hop beats from two synchronised drummers. The group will come to Paris this Feburary, touring behind their third album, ‘United Crushers’.
