Brilliant Chicago singer-songwriter Willis Earl Beal headlines the Divan du Monde venue with support from the equally brilliant East India Youth. Over the past few years, Beal has maintained an enigmatic facade all the while producing consistent and compellingly odd blues-cum-R&B. Live, it's a dramatic storytelling session, with Beal writhing like a possessed prophet, sweating profusely and throwing himself down to the ground. This gig is part of the ‘Winter Camp’ festival, which takes place in Paris this December.
