No doubt related to the recent roller blading revival across the capital, the second edition of Paris’s huge ‘roller disco’ Roller Over Club will be taking over La Cigale this Sunday, November 29. For the uninitiated, a roller disco essentially consists of an oval dance floor, a giant glitter ball, a specially curated disco soundtrack and a swarm of amateur and professional dancers strapped on to four-wheeled roller blades, each attempting to show off their most outlandish moves while gliding around the room. This time around, there will be sets from an impressive lineup of DJs including Louise Chchchen, Fils de Vénus and MPC Boys. So slip on your sparkly leggings and get down the huge Pigalle venue – entry is €5 on the door and you can rent blades for €10.
