Charming, cool local bistro with quality food. It is best appreciated for ambiance and great prices. Though not a full scale wine bar, it offers a good range of reasonably priced French wines. It is a definite cut above the usual "pretty good" bistro and far above the many mediocre ones in the neighborhood. It's a pleasant place to be. I give it 3.5 stars.

Café Fusain restaurant is the life and soul of this corner of Paris’ 11th arrondissement. Local twenty- and thirtysomethings treat it like a second home, popping in several times a week to enjoy the regular live music, check out the latest art exhibition or just see who’s hanging out at the cosy dark red-painted bar - the hub of Café Fusain. On the menu are great value French classics - from steak with Bearnaise sauce to warm goats’ cheese salad - that bring satisfaction to both stomach and wallet. Weekends at Café Fusain are always packed to the rafters. On Saturday, a ‘ladies happy hour’ lasts six hours until 11pm. Sundays sees many of the same faces back again, recovering over brunch on the terrace.
